Casino Raid in Cyprus!

Captain XO has once again, devised a cunning scheme.

Two part mission: the Glider Zoauves are going to steal a megayacht from the port and prepare it for sea.  However, it will remain tied up at the dock, awaiting loading.

LOADING WITH THE LOOT THAT THE BOLD AIR HUSSARS BRING US!

The HUMINT Teams, with Captain XO accompanying, will collect intelligence to identify which Cyprus casino has the most cash/valuables in their vaults.  Once identified, the Hussars will execute a smash and grab raid and clean out the vaults.  In the meanwhile, the loggies will have identified, acquired, and staged ground transport near the casino.  Hussars load up, drive to the port, load up the yacht, and everyone sails away to a rendezvous with the Renegade.

Hunker Down at Wick

As we pull back into Wick for some refit and rearming, we are expecting to get socked in a for a few days due to an approaching ice storm.

So, bearing that in mind....

First priority is to rearm and resupply the Renegade.

Second priority is engine and other systems maintenance.  The Tesla gun coils need to be swapped out.  Check the fuel levels.  Use the fabricator to repair the hull/lifting body.

Third priority is prep the Renegade for weather.  Make sure the turrets are sealed, hatches dogged, and it is locked in place.

Fourth priority, make sure the base is storm prepped.  Make sure the back up generator has fuel stocks

Fifth priority: Make sure we have a plan to keep ourselves entertained at Wick.  As Captain XO is a planner, he is all over this.

For starters.  Ground crew, please double our usual home port booze delivery.  Have an extra two cords of wood delivered.  Get a cord of it staged at the Zeppel Inn, so that we keep the fire at the pub going continuously.  We'll have a game night on Saturday.  Captain XO wants to play Cthulhu Pandemic.  Maybe a little Settlers of Catan.  We'll set up the gaming consoles and do a tournament, too.

Sunday night we'll do a movie night.  Anyone for Brendon Fraser's The Mummy?

PREPARE TO RAID!

The Renegade’s coffers are flush…but flusher is always better.

Captain XO has identified a not one, but TWO megayachts that are rendezvousing in the Med.  The reason, according to our sources, is nefarious.  Rich people who think morals and ethics don’t apply to them.  Our sources have been a little over the top in their descriptions, but ‘human sacrifice at sea’ was mentioned.

Captain XO is a firm believer in efficiency.  If we intercept these yachts we can:

1)      Strike a mighty blow for righteousness.

2)      Loot the hell out of a couple of well appointed megayachts.

Raid Plan:

Bold Air Hussars: you will serve as the assault force for Megayacht 1: The Pride of Innsmouth.  The Renegade will insert you via fast rope onto the fantail of the yacht.   Expect a 10-15 person guard force, as well as approximately 20 crew and 30 passengers.  At least 5 passengers are held under duress.  The only people Captain XO wants to see at the end of this raid are the passengers under duress.  The rest…well…suffer not an asshole to live.

Glider Zouaves: you’ll assault the other Megayacht: Pnakotic Princess. (WHO NAMES THESE THINGS?) You’ll insert by your favorite method—assault glider.  Time your release so you hit the deck as the Hussars hit Yacht One.  This is a similar size to the other yacht, but with a larger passenger list—and more guards.  15-20 guards, 10 passengers under duress.

MORTARS: Clear the decks ahead of insertion via HE VT 120mm.  Then use floating smoke to isolate the yachts from each other.

The Renegade will fly a racetrack pattern and provide support by Tesla cannon fire as necessary.

ALL: Kill the guards, rescue the passengers held under duress, kill any other passengers or crew who resist.  Bring to Captain XO and the 2 the owners or any leadership figures for the yacht passengers.  Then loot the hell out of the place.
